From Goodreads:
Expanded from Austen novella, as author expanded
Elinor and Marianneto Sense and Sensibility. After her husband dies, Lady Vernon is penniless and homeless with her daughter. His heir and wife are indifferent and antagonistic. Rumors threaten to undo them all. Love is hindered by misunderstanding, marriage entangled with money, yet romance carries the day.

Note: This event replaces the previously scheduled “The Edwardians.”  Several members had trouble obtaining a copy.

  1. This looks like a really good book to read, Kirk. Love the image, too. I hope I’ll be able to join you.

    • I hope you can make it! The image above and the book were chosen by Shirley. Lol, I chose the image for Facebook, Downton Abbey Season one. Cheers, Kirk

  2. Alas, too many people were unable to obtain this book. We have switched to Lady Vernon and Her Daughter by Jane Rubino and Caitlen Rubino-Bradway. I was able to read the Edwardians. My review will be posted later in the week
