11/12 Week in review…

In honor of Veteran’s Day and Armistice 2019 read “The Janeites” a short story about soldiers in the trenches of WWI who read Jane Austen to cope with the horrors of war by Rudyard Kipling. It was first published in Story-Teller magazine in May 1924.

Dyrham Park was not only used in Sense & Sensibility (2008) as Allenham, but can also be seen in Sanditon, the rather controversial ITV/PBS series based on Jane’s last and unfinished work.
